Large insulating glass units from FGI’s Everseal IG range featuring AGC’s Planibel Low-E glass are helping to create a modern, bright learning environment at Cults Academy, a new state-of-the-art school in Aberdeen.

Everseal IG units combine superb visual clarity The units produced for Cults Academy are assembled from 8.8mm Top N+ laminated glass from AGC’s Planibel range, 12mm warm edge TPS and 10.8mm Clear laminated glass. Top N+ is a high light transmission, low emissivity glass specially designed for use in double glazed units. It offers an excellent level of thermal insulation (up to 1.1 U-value with argon gas filling) together with free solar heat gain and low light reflection.

An advanced Bystronic IG production line with jumbo laminate cutting facilities makes Everseal one of the few UK companies capable of manufacturing the type of large IG units specified for Cults Academy. The gas-filled laminated units offer the superior insulation and reliability of ThermoEverseal’s IG manufacturing facility in
